New Patients

During your first visit at Comprehensive Foot and Ankle, we make sure to obtain important background information, like your full medical history and give you time to get to know your doctor.  This allows us to be aware of all possible factors which may have contributed to your condition.  It also lets us know about any prescription medicines, allergies, or other health conditions which may affect our ability to write any prescription medications for you or any other treatments we may wish to use. 

On the this page, you will find maps and directions to our offices.  You can also save time at your first office visit by printing out and completing the new patient information forms at your convenience in advance of your appointment.  These are available below on our website or we can fax or Email you the forms. 

Please bring a photo ID (if available), insurance cards, and any other applicable medical reports or paperwork to your first visit to help you avoid any unnecessary delays at your visit.  Also prepare a list of any prescription medicines you take, if any.  We also ask that you allow appropriate time in your schedule to let us enter your information and evaluate and treat you in an appropriate, thorough manner. 

Overview
Our practice specializes in treatment of problems involving the feet and ankles, but we fully recognize that it is important to treat the person attached to those parts as well.  A brief partial list of some of the more common foot and ankle problems we treat has been prepared and appears in another section.  Many conditions elsewhere in the body can affect the feet and ankles.  Some conditions, for example diabetes, are initially detected based on symptoms in the feet.  A thorough evaluation each case is essential to determining the most appropriate and effective treatment, rather than a “quick fix”. 

It is the goal of our practice to provide each and every patient with the level of quality, compassionate care that we would want ourselves and our families to receive.   By regularly reviewing medical journals and other literature, attending medical conferences, and discussions with other doctors and healthcare providers we make a sincere effort to provide our patients with the most up to date treatments.  We are careful, though not to add treatments that have not been proven to be effective through reliable medical studies or similar evidence.

*We politely request that cell phones and similar electronic devices be turned off during your visit as a courtesy to others who are waiting to be seen as well as to the doctors and staff.  We fully recognize that everyone’s time is important and will do all we can to have you seen at your scheduled appointment time.
